On this website, I share my AP Art projects, where I explore cultural differences and how identity, tradition, and perspective shape the way we see the world. Through graphic art, I combine visual storytelling and creative design to communicate ideas and spark thought. This site is a space to showcase my creative work, reflect on cultural themes, and share the process behind my projects. Visitors can explore my artwork, see how I approach creative problem-solving, and gain insight into the ways art can connect people and ideas across cultures.
My Story
Hi, I’m Aparna Girish! I’m a high school student passionate about art, culture, and graphic design, and I created this website to share my journey and creative projects with anyone curious about the ways art can connect people and ideas. My AP Art project explores cultural differences, looking at how identity, tradition, and perspective shape the way we see the world, and I bring these ideas to life through graphic art filled with color, storytelling, and personal expression.
I love working with Posca pens, embracing messy chaos, and letting my creativity flow freely, whether I’m sketching, painting, or experimenting with new techniques. I’m inspired by nature, by spontaneous moments, and by the simple mantra of YOLO, which reminds me to take risks and explore without overthinking. On this site, you’ll find examples of my artwork, insights into my creative process, and reflections on the themes I explore. My goal is to create a space where visitors can see, feel, and think differently about the world—and maybe even be inspired to embrace their own messy, colorful creativity.
